The difference between honor degree and master degree, which

Question: I m a bachelor student graduated from Latrobe Uni. My marks is good, so I ve got 2 options in the following study stage. The first one is to do honor degree in finance @ Latrobe uni, and another is to do master degree @ Monash uni ( I chose Monash uni, coz its business school is good in Australia. Or anyone has any comment?)

So, i m wondering which one is better for me to hunte a job when i finish my study. I mean which one could give me more oppotunity to get a job if other conditions are same.

Master is a higher degree than honors, but honors offers a deeper study in a major. Both have benefits, so i cannt make my decision.

Thanks very much for any help!

Answer: Honours is generally research only for 1 year and is covered by HECS. Masters come in two forms - 2 years research (sometimes covered by HECS) or coursework (which is not covered by HECS - its fee paying $$$$ per subject).

Masters by Research generally requires an Honours degree as a pre-req.
